Observations
Here at CHILD Inc., we care about your child and their success in the classroom. CHILD Inc. will be able to visit your child's classroom upon request to observe the environment, and possibly any hidden challenges that may be hindering your child from learning to the best of their ability. During the observation, we interact with the teacher, and work with your child to determine their preferred learning style. This assists us in maximizing their productivity in the classroom. We also gather information that will help us determine the best course of action in planning your child's lesson plans at CHILD Inc.
Referrals
For our special needs learners here at CHILD Inc., we do communicate with specialty clinics located within the Fayetteville area. We provide recommendations and referrals for your child if you feel they may have a special need that should be addressed. These disabilities include: Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, classic Dyslexia, and others.
Mentoring/Internship
At CHILD Inc., we pride ourselves in helping educators of tomorrow. We encourage students (i.e. high school juniors and seniors) to shadow our tutors, and volunteer within the center. This contributes to volunteer hours that are encouraged for college admissions. If your child is interested in volunteering with us, call us today and we will be more than happy to make accommodations. We are always looking for vibrant tutors who share our mission and values. Therapy
Here at CHILD Inc., we offer services in life skills, social skills, and behavior management. We also follow goals and objectives as outlined within Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Tutorial services are offered to our special learners that focus on cognitive, speech and fine motor skills.
