The first step to helping any child succeed in school is to identify their strengths and weaknesses. At Child Inc. all of our incoming students, regardless of the school district, are given a developmental assessment to determine the strengths and areas of need. We assess in the areas of: Math, Reading, Writing, and Social Skills. The developmental assessment provides immediate feedback and results which are used to determine present level of performance. Following the assessment, our multidisciplinary team creates a six month planning objective referred to as the "Goals at a Glance." At the end of six months we reevaluate your child at no additional charge should you decide to continue the tutorial sessions. What makes us different?

Specialized attention: At Child Inc. our Program Manager reviews your child's assessment results, and creates individualized lesson plans specially catered for your child. At Child Inc. you will also find that all lesson plans your child receives strictly follow the North Carolina Standard Course of Study which in fact is the same standards that all teachers in

schools must use in creating their lesson plans.  

Interactive: Our Program Manager does an excellent job at creating fun and interactive lesson plans for your child. We utilize a variety of methodologies to ensure successful learning! We implement many techniques to include but not limited to: Computer learning, manipulatives, hands on activities, creative games, and many many more! The various strategies and techniques used help your child understand the material they are learning as they generalize the information within the school setting. 

Tutoring: We offer one-on-one tutoring and group tutoring sessions at your convenience. 

Hours: Parents have the option of bringing their child to the center to receive tutoring on M-F from 4-6 p.m., and on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. For parents who can not bring their child to the center, we do offer home tutoring M-F from 4-7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9-11a.m.  

Hours per week: Tutoring sessions per week vary for each individual child. However, hours are determined by the director and the parents when the assessment has been completed. This is based on the assessment results and the multidisciplinary team’s recommendations.  

Subjects: We focus on all subjects including: Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Science. We also offer tutorials for test taking skills (i.e. SAT, PSAT, ACT), organizational skills, and time management.  We also work with special needs children, to include: LD, Autism, ADHD, ADD, and many more! 

EOG/EOC Prep: Child, Inc. offers End of Grade and End of Course preparation for all students.  

Here at Child Inc., we care about your child, and their success in the classroom. Child Inc. will be able to visit your child's classroom upon request to see the environment, and possibly any hidden challenges that may be hindering your child from learning to the best of their ability. During the observation, we interact with the teacher, and work with your child to determine their preferred learning style. This assists us in maximizing their productivity in the classroom. We also gather information that will help us determine the best course of action in planning your child's lesson plans at Child Inc.

For our special learners here at Child Inc. we do communicate with specialty clinics located within the Fayetteville area. We provide recommendations for your child if you feel they may have a special learning disability such as: LD, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Autism or classic Dyslexia.

At Child Inc., we pride ourselves in helping the educators of tomorrow. We encourage students (i.e. high school junior/senior) to shadow our tutors, and volunteer around the center. This contributes to volunteer hours that are encouraged for college admissions. Here at Child Inc. we offer services in life skills, social skills, and behavior management. We also follow goals and objectives as outlined within Individual Education Plans (IEP). Tutorial services are offered to our special learners that focus on speech, and motor skills.
